PS3 officially delayed until November!
Date: 01-11-2008 Click: 130This is the news everyone has been expecting, but hoping it wouldn't come true: Sony has officially confirmed that the PlayStation 3's Japanese launch will be delayed until November this year.
The delay is due to the copy protection technology for the Blu-ray Disc system having not been finalised, Sony say.
The announcement, coming from Japanese business newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun, triggered a 1.8%% drop in Sony's shares to 5,470 yen (.56; £26.67) on the Tokyo market.
